Our First Post...

Welcome! After much time and travel and deliberation and stalling and other things, we have finally decided to launch the much-anticipated "Caleb and Lauren" blog! Actually, we have been waiting for the arrival of our wedding pictures, since we knew you would all demand to see them. :-) (Hey, we were more anxious than you were!) Being the "proper people" that we are, we simply could not publish our honeymoon pictures before our wedding pictures. Almost four weeks after our wedding, the picture CDs finally arrived in the mail, and here they are! (Well, just a few for now--there are about 9 million of them.) We hope you enjoy this glimpse into the most beautiful day of our
lives...
With this ring, I became "Lauren Taylor Quezada"

The veiling...this is when I started to hyperventilate as I began to really feel like "the bride"--my sister, in the green dress, is on the left along with my friend/bridesmaid Ashley and my mother is on the right. Thanks to Erin I was able to laugh rather than cry :-)

My brothers/friends/groomsmen, Pastor Barry, and my (now) niece Zoe prayed for me just minutes before the ceremony started. I really needed it (and still do), considering the magnitude of what I was about to do! (and considering how precious a woman I was marrying!)

Well...we had hoped to post more pictures today, however Blogger is having technical difficulties. We will post more as soon as we can...

Love you all!

Yay I get to be the first to post!!! Hey you newlywed lovebirds - so glad you started a new blog for your married life! Isn't it wonderful? Post often so we can see and know what is happening down yonder in Antigua. The pictures are beautiful. Love you guys. Your favorite sister, Sarah

Hey you two! Good to hear from you. We've actually changed our URL to
http://yankeeandtexan.blogspot.com/

Seriously, though, it's a wild ride. :-) Enjoy it, don't be surprised if it's hard (I'm sure you've heard that a million times), but it's both. And it's worth it. If you need help, ask for it. :-) God is good.
